The sonic features a custom made electronics chip with two sound effects and two neural relay settings, as well as the standard LED lit emitter. The sonic features screen accurate red slide switches; the first toggles between sounds and the second controls the amount of bars that light up on the neural relay. With interchangeable red and blue emitter domes, you can choose which version of the sonic to display. Perhaps the most important feature of this sonic is the removable neural relay door. The door on this version is attached by means of four neodymium magnets that keep the door safely secured to the sonic's main body. The first relay mode consists of one flashing bar and a flickering second bar, whilst the second mode (activated by the red slide switch) activates four bars and one flickering bar.​
